(Baonghean.vn) - Compared to previous socialist ideology, "The Communist Manifesto" has made outstanding contributions, focusing on three core points.

1. The Communist Manifesto was born as an inevitable result of human history, responding to the development demands of the workers' movement worldwide. Along with the development of large-scale capitalist industry, the working class increasingly matured, and from the 1940s of the 19th century, began to step onto the political stage as an independent social force.

That reality urgently requires a system of guiding theories and a leading political party for the working class to fulfill its historical mission. However, until the first half of the 19th century, socialism was still utopian, because it did not discover the laws of motion and development of human society; it did not point out the pioneering social force and propose feasible measures to overthrow the bourgeoisie, capitalist society, build socialism and communism. In that context, through the active activities of C. Marx and F. Engels, gradually changing the awareness and actions of the working class, giving birth toCommunist ManifestoFebruary 1848, marked the formation of scientific socialism.

2.Communist Manifesto"publicly presented the goals, tasks, revolutionary measures, strategic principles, and tactics of the communists and the proletariat to overthrow the bourgeoisie and capitalism and build communism"; becoming the first political platform of the international communist and workers' movement. The Manifesto is the light that illuminates, awakens, guides, is the call, is the banner that gathers the fighting strength of the working class and working people all over the world to successfully carry out their historical mission, bringing about the emergence of real socialism for more than 100 years now.

The Manifesto's outstanding contributions compared to previous socialist ideology are concentrated in three core points:

(1) The Declaration clearly states the objective law of motion and development of human society, affirming that capitalist society will inevitably be replaced by communist society. Since human society was divided into classes, the struggle between opposing classes over interests and social status has taken place. Because "the history of all societies that have existed up to now is only the history of class struggle", "the fall of the bourgeoisie and the victory of the proletariat are equally inevitable".

(2) The Manifesto clearly states the historical mission of the working class and they themselves are the core force that pioneers in overthrowing the bourgeoisie and capitalism, establishing a communist society, liberating the class, and more broadly liberating society, liberating people, helping nations escape oppression and exploitation, and bringing people to a life of freedom, prosperity, happiness, justice, and social progress. The struggle of the working class is inseparable from the national struggle, not only within the scope of a factory or a country but must be international in scope. This is a very important content that governs the revolutionary process of the nations since the Declaration of Independence.emerged, especially in the 20th century and current conditions.

(3) The Manifesto points out the scientific method for the working class to successfully realize its historical mission; in which, it is necessary to have a communist party to lead, carry out revolutionary violence, implement the dictatorship of the proletariat, build a worker-peasant alliance, and create world proletarian solidarity. The Manifesto clearly states that the working class cannot fulfill its historical mission without organizing into a proletarian party. The birth of the Communist Party is inevitable due to the requirement of organizing education, training, gathering, and creating strength for the working class to fulfill its mission. First of all, they "must finish off the bourgeoisie of their country", "must seize power", "eliminate the situation of man exploiting man" then "the situation of one nation exploiting another will also be eliminated".

3.Discovering the role and historical mission of the working class; showing the working class what to do and how to do it to liberate themselves, liberate society, liberate humanity from oppression, exploitation, injustice, build a good society with abundant material wealth and immense humanity, is a value of great significance, the basis for the everlasting vitality of the Declaration.

Through 170 years of ups and downs, changes in the world situation, always facing attacks and distortions from hostile forces, and although some points of the Declaration are not entirely suitable for contemporary society, as its authors admitted in 1872 that "this platform has some outdated points", the Declaration has always shown a very strong vitality, showing profound scientific and practical value. The revolutionary path and historical mission of the working class that the Declaration outlined have brought billions of working people, many countries and ethnic groups out of exploitation, oppression, and slavery, to the position of masters, building a prosperous, free, and happy life.

The Manifesto has, is, and will continue to prove to humanity that communism is not "a ghost haunting Europe" as imperialist and reactionary forces have claimed, but has not only sparked proletarian revolutions that shook the world, but has become an objective reality with a full frame, making a great contribution to the goal of class liberation, social liberation, and human liberation, and winning the support and sympathy of progressive humanity in the world.

From its first child, the Paris Commune in 1871, to the great Russian October Revolution in 1917, and then the birth of the Soviet Union in 1922, it became the focal point and the locomotive for countries following the path of socialism to strive for. After World War II (1939-1945), with the victory of a series of revolutions in Europe, Asia and Latin America, socialism became a world system, creating a formidable counterweight, strongly influencing the policy adjustment of capitalism. In the new conditions, no matter how capitalism adjusts its policies to adapt and develop, its nature remains unchanged. Although it can take advantage of the achievements of modern scientific and technological revolutions to develop, capitalism cannot adapt forever, and capitalist society still cannot eliminate exploitation and injustice.

The Manifesto was born, leading to the emergence of real socialism, which until now has still encountered the relentless attacks of capitalism and hostile forces, especially the plot of "peaceful evolution". Especially when the socialist model in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe disintegrated and collapsed in the last decade of the 20th century, capitalism and many hostile and reactionary forces spread the Communist Manifesto to close its role and meaning. But the reality is different, the remaining socialist countries, especially Vietnam, have firmly followed the path to socialism, carried out the cause of national renewal, achieved great achievements of historical significance, further proving the strong vitality and correctness of Marxism-Leninism as stated in the Manifesto.outlined 170 years ago.

The revolutionary cause of the working class outlined by K. Marx and F. Engels, further supplemented and developed by V. Lenin, and creatively applied by President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese revolutionary practice is the content we are striving for under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam for the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, equality and civilization. Compared to the past, the modern Vietnamese working class has changed and developed in terms of quantity, quality, structure, historical status and role in society, but its leadership role, revolutionary nature and vanguard character remain unchanged. As our Party affirmed in Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW, dated January 28, 2008: “Building a strong working class in our country during the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country is an important and urgent task of the Party, the State, the entire political system, of each worker and of the whole society... The working class of our country has a great historical mission: It is the class leading the revolution through the vanguard, the Communist Party of Vietnam; the class representing advanced production methods; the pioneer class in the cause of building socialism, the leading force in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country for the goal of a rich people, a strong country, a fair, democratic and civilized society; the core force in the alliance of the working class with the peasantry and the intelligentsia under the leadership of the Party”.
