3 students of Thanh Chuong 1 High School and their journey to shine during exam season
With 3 students on the list at the Ceremony to honor students who won international and national awards and achieved high scores in the 2025 high school graduation exam scheduled to take place on August 22, Thanh Chuong 1 High School is in the top 5 schools with the largest number of outstanding students in the province. What is admirable is that each student has their own story, overcoming circumstances and challenges to reach the top, leaving unforgettable impressions.
Nguyen Thi Hai Uyen - Not choosing her strong subject but still being the runner-up
Nguyen Thi Hai Uyen is the name mentioned the most as soon as the 2025 high school graduation exam scores were announced. She scored 38.50 points in 4 subjects, ranking 2nd in the province, including 9.5 points in Math, 9.25 points in Literature, 10 points in Physics and 9.75 points in Chemistry.

Small and skinny, Hai Uyen always has a strong resilience. She shared: "I was most surprised when my Literature score exceeded my expectations and even more surprised when I ranked second in the province."
From grade 10 to grade 12, in the natural science class (12A1), Uyen always maintained a top position. Since grade 6, she has loved Math, oriented towards the natural science class and believes that "the key to success is diligence, mastery of knowledge, and regular practice of questions".
Mr. Tran Dinh Hung - the homeroom teacher commented: "Uyen is stable in the mock exams and is often in the top group of the school. Moreover, I think that the learning environment with a group that always strives and competes has created more motivation for her to constantly strive."
In particular, Uyen's real strength is Biology, the subject in which she won second prize for excellent students in the province in grades 9 and 12. But when taking the graduation exam, she chose block A (Math - Physics - Chemistry). Currently, Uyen has enrolled in the Faculty of Mathematics Education, Hanoi National University of Education, to both fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher and reduce the burden on her farming family.
Le Quang Huy- Efforts to overcome difficulties
With 37.75 points (Math 9, Literature 9, Physics 10 and Chemistry 9.75), Le Quang Huy was in the top 5 students with high scores in Nghe An province. He also decided to enroll in the Mathematics Pedagogy major at Vinh University.
Few people know that Huy has a special situation. His mother died when he was 8 years old, his father suffered from an accident and lost his ability to work, and the family mainly relies on the support of his grandparents and relatives. Despite this, Huy still studies well and won first prize in the provincial Chemistry competition in 12th grade.
Huy's original dream was to enter Hanoi University of Science and Technology, but because he wanted to be close to his father and continue his father's unfinished dream - who had dropped out of school in Mathematics and Information Technology at Vinh University of Education, he chose the path of education.

Mr. Le Minh Huu, Huy's father, was moved: "I can't help him, I can only advise him not to stay up too late. Today's achievement is the happiest thing in my life."

Head teacher Nguyen Thi Thu Trang shared: “Huy has clear goals and persistent efforts. The results he achieved are completely worthy and are the pride of the school.”
Nguyen The Hieu -Don't be afraid to change for passion
As one of the few male students with outstanding achievements in the social sciences, Nguyen The Hieu (12C2) impressed with 9.25 points in Literature, 10 points in History, 10 points in Geography and 8 points in Math. He ranked 2nd in the province in block C.
Previously, Hieu was a student in block A and was a member of the school's Biology team. But at the beginning of grade 12, he transferred to block C because of his passion for History and his dream of becoming a political officer.

This sudden decision made his teachers worried, but Hieu was steadfast: "I have a special passion for History, love telling stories about Uncle Ho and want to live true to my choice."

The change of major forced Hieu to re-study the entire Geography program, putting in twice as much effort as his friends. He diligently did the exercises, reviewed each lesson carefully, and wrote a Literature topic every day to practice his speaking ability. Thanks to that, Hieu won the second prize in the provincial History exam for 12th graders and achieved high results in the exam.

With the achievements of 3 students being commended, Thanh Chuong 1 High School has increased 9 ranks, reaching 6th place in the province.
Mr. Nguyen Trieu Tien - Principal of the school shared: "This is a great joy for the collective after many efforts. This result will add energy for the school to enter the new school year, with the belief that there will be many new achievements, many students will be recognized".
