30 tourism businesses and media agencies JICA Vietnam surveyed Nghe An tourism
(Baonghean.vn) - On December 22, a travel famtrip delegation of Nghe An tourism enterprises led by Mr. Nguyen Manh Loi - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism and communication experts from the JICA Vietnam Office visited and surveyed tourist attractions in Nam Dan district.
This program is within the framework of the Project on diversifying livelihoods based on heritage tourism in agricultural and fishing villages in Nghe An.

During 1 day, the famtrip delegation of travel agencies and JICA communication experts visited and surveyed tourist attractions in Nam Dan district such as Dai Tue Pagoda, Kim Lien Relic Site, King Mai Hac De Tomb, Phan Boi Chau Memorial House...; at the same time, visited and experienced craft villages: Sa Nam soy sauce, tapioca starch, Quy Chinh vermicelli, Nam Anh commune rose garden...
In particular, the delegation exchanged with the Vi and Giam folk song club of Hung Son in Van Dien commune, Nam Dan district to better understand the heritage recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
The leaders of the Department of Tourism affirmed that this famtrip is an opportunity for Nghe An travel businesses to build tours and routes within the province to serve tourists when visiting Uncle Ho's hometown and experiencing nearby tourism products, imbued with the characteristics of famous people associated with the cultural heritage of Nghe An.
Sharing his first impressions of Nghe An, especially the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh, Mr. Omiya - JICA Office's communications officer expressed his interest in cultural heritage tourism spots, culinary services and the unique features of culture, traditions and craft villages of Nam Dan people in particular and Nghe An in general. He expressed his belief that in the coming time, the number of Japanese tourists to Nam Dan in particular and Nghe An in general will increase rapidly, contributing to the development of local tourism economy./.
