361.76 billion VND to support 27 localities in environmental treatment

The Prime Minister decided to allocate 361.76 billion VND from the environmental career expenditure source arranged in the 2015 budget estimate to support 27 provinces in implementing projects to handle serious environmental pollution in the public sector.

27 provinces supported include: Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Phu Tho, Lang Son, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Dong Thap, An Giang, Ben Tre, Long An, Bac Lieu, Quang Ngai, Dak Nong, Soc Trang.

The Prime Minister requested the Ministries of Finance and Natural Resources and Environment to be responsible for reviewing and assessing procedures, records and reporting data. The management, use and settlement of allocated funds must comply with current regulations.

For the remaining unallocated budget, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will review specific spending tasks and propose an allocation plan to the Ministry of Finance for appraisal and report to the Prime Minister before November 30, 2015.
