4 teachers 'living in remote areas' in Nghe An were honored as outstanding teachers nationwide
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 20, 2016, Nghe An had 4 teachers honored as exemplary teachers. These are all teachers who live in remote areas and have made many positive contributions to the education of their home province.
The program to honor outstanding teachers to celebrate Vietnam Teachers' Day will be held on the evening of November 18 by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Education Trade Union and Vietnam Television. The main purpose is to honor the contributions of teachers and administrators in the education and training career. At the same time, it will promote and raise awareness and social recognition of the difficulties and hardships that teachers have been and are experiencing.

At this year's ceremony, 153 outstanding teachers and administrators were honored nationwide. Nghe An province had 4 teachers honored, namely: teacher Ho Thi Thao - Principal of Quy Chau High School, teacher Lo Van Lan - Teacher of Cam Muon 2 Primary School (Que Phong); teacher Lang Van Nhan and teacher Nguyen Hong Hiep - Principal and teacher of Tri Le 4 Primary School (Que Phong).
The commendation ceremony will be broadcast live with the program “Instead of gratitude” on VTV2 – Vietnam Television. In particular, in this program, the story of “staying in the village, staying in the school” of the teachers who bring knowledge to the highland students of Tri Le 4 Primary School, Que Phong District will be introduced to the national audience. This is a school located in a remote, difficult area of the mountainous district of Nghe An and is the only school without female teachers.
