400 athletes attend the Sports Competition of Nghe An Culture and Sports Sector
(Baonghean.vn) - This is a traditional sports activity held annually to celebrate the traditional day of the Culture - Information sector on August 28.
On the morning of July 6, at Quynh Phuong ward beach (Hoang Mai town), the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town organized the opening ceremony of the 2019 Nghe An Culture and Sports Sports Competition.
Attending the event were comrade Ho Mau Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; representatives of departments, branches, unions and 400 athletes.

The competition takes place from July 5 to July 6. This is a traditional sports activity held annually to celebrate the traditional day of the Vietnamese Sports and Physical Training sector on March 27.
This year's festival attracted nearly 400 athletes who are officials, civil servants, and public employees to compete in tug of war, sack jumping, rowing on land, bailing water from the East Sea, and relay races.
400 athletes are currently working at the Department of Culture - Information and the Center for Culture - Sports and Communication of cities, districts and towns; departments, offices and units under the Department of Culture and Sports.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, athletes competed in tug of war, sack race, and rowing.
