80th National Day Celebration September 2: Hanoi prepares grand parade attracting 30,000 people
The capital Hanoi is entering the final stages of preparation for the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, 2025, a historical event of great significance to the entire Vietnamese people.
With its grand scale and special importance, the parade will take place at Ba Dinh Square and central streets of the capital, expected to attract 30,000 participants, not including the parade force.
The Central Steering Committee for the celebration of major holidays and important historical events of the country in the period 2023-2025 will take on the role of directing the implementation of this important ceremony. Hanoi City is identified as the host unit, with close coordination from key ministries and branches.
To ensure that the anniversary message is widely spread to the whole society, Hanoi city press agencies are assigned to proactively promote the contents and activities of the anniversary. The communication strategy will be deployed on many platforms.
Commemorative columns and banners will be specially designed to honor the historical value of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. In particular, social media platforms of press agencies will be fully utilized to reach young readers and create high interaction in the community.

The fireworks program is designed to harmoniously combine traditional forms and modern fireworks art. This combination not only respects traditional cultural values but also demonstrates the innovation and creativity of the new era, creating memorable moments in the hearts of people and tourists.
The special art program and cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. These activities not only create a vibrant festival atmosphere but also demonstrate the richness and diversity of Vietnamese culture.
The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and Vietnam Television will organize a live television broadcast to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2. This live television program will be of national importance, helping people nationwide and overseas Vietnamese to participate and feel the festive atmosphere.
