5 recommendations of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee sent to all levels and sectors in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - At the 12th session, Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) sent to the Provincial People's Council session many opinions and recommendations from voters and people in the province with the hope that all levels and sectors would take action to resolve the issues more drastically and effectively.

More than 60 thousand opinions and recommendations from voters
According to Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Vo Thi Minh Sinh, in 2019, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee directed and guided the district and grassroots Fatherland Fronts to coordinate in organizing 10,380 meetings with voters; thereby collecting and synthesizing over 60,700 opinions, recommendations and reflections of voters and people for the National Assembly, People's Councils and People's Committees at all levels to consider and resolve in order to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people.
From existing problems, shortcomings and urgent issues in practice, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee proposed 5 groups of issues for all levels and sectors.
The first,Propose that the Provincial People's Committee continue to direct departments, branches and localities to inspect and review slow-progressing projects, and find solutions to remove them; promptly disburse public investment capital, speed up progress, and transparently implement to ensure the quality and effectiveness of public investment projects; strictly handle agencies, units and individuals who violate the law. Resolutely revoke suspended projects, slow-progressing projects and unfeasible projects.

Monday,Request the Provincial People's Committee, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, relevant departments, branches, and localities to urgently have solutions to protect the environment, minimize environmental pollution, and pollution of domestic water sources; have a plan to review and relocate factories and industrial parks with potential risks of causing fires and explosions, and environmental pollution outside densely populated areas; actively propagate to raise people's awareness and responsibility in environmental protection; pay attention to investing in response to natural disasters and climate change.
Rankthree,Request the Provincial Police, departments, branches and localities to focus on ensuring political security, order and social safety; strengthen the suppression of all types of crime, especially organized crime, high-tech crime and drug-related crime. Further promote responsibility in population management, household registration, border security, immigration management, and strictly handle violations of the law. Continue to promote and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the work of preventing and combating corruption and waste; strictly handle cases of violations by cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees.

Thursday,Propose that the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments, branches and sectors actively coordinate with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in proposing comments and social criticism on draft legal policies, planning, plans, programs and projects for economic, cultural and social development of the Central Government and the province that are directly related to the rights and interests of the people, the rights and responsibilities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee according to Decision 217-QD/TW of the Politburo and the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to contribute to making the issued documents, mechanisms and policies suitable to reality, bringing sustainable effectiveness.
