In the past 5 years, in the border area of ​​Nghe An province, there have been 9 storms, 331 tornadoes, 56 forest fires, house fires, 26 flash floods, landslides and 243 machine failures, accidents at sea, falling into the sea and ship fires.

Incident response, natural disaster response and search and rescue work in Nghe An Border Guard has always been closely and effectively implemented. The Provincial Border Guard has coordinated with local authorities and joint forces to directly participate in 236 cases; used 5,266 officers and soldiers; 153 vehicles, rescued 423 people, 52 vehicles, repaired 722 houses...

At the conference, delegates also pointed out difficulties and obstacles in implementing incident response, natural disaster response and search and rescue work; and proposed solutions to improve performance in the coming time.
