500 athletes participate in Nghe Tinh Student Sports Festival in Ho Chi Minh City

The 2nd Nghe Tinh Student Sports Festival in Ho Chi Minh City in 2023 opened at the Ho Chi Minh City National University Urban Area. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023); the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023).

This sports festival has the participation of 500 athletes from 20 units, mainly students from universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas, competing in events such as: Football, volleyball, badminton, chess, tug of war...

To make the sports festival a success, the Organizing Committee has established event, logistics, and communication committees... The sports festival lasts for 1 month from April 22 to May 21. Due to study conditions, the sports festival only takes place on Saturdays and Sundays every week.

This sports festival is a continuation of the success of the Nghe Tinh Student Sports Festival 2019 and the annual traditional football tournament, a useful playground, aiming to enhance communication and connection, promote and spread the movement of physical exercise and sports of Nghe An children studying and working in the South.
