6 hours of quick pursuit of a robber in Vinh city

Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. on February 15, Luong Khanh Thien drove a black Lead motorbike with license plate 37B2 - 679.71 from his home to Goong Lake area, Truong Thi ward, Vinh city to observe and detect people's negligence to rob.

At around 9:25 a.m., when he reached the intersection of Phan Dang Luu Street and Truong Thi Street, Thien saw a woman walking along the sidewalk of Phan Dang Luu Street talking on the phone, with a black handbag on her shoulder.

At this time, Thien quickly drove the car on the sidewalk, accelerated from behind, approached the woman's right side, and quickly used his left hand to snatch the bag and escape.

After snatching the handbag, Luong Khanh Thien drove to the front of Hoa Sen Kindergarten, Le Hong Phong Street, Hung Binh Ward (Vinh City) to check inside the handbag, discovering nearly 5 million VND and some personal documents.

Thien quickly put the money in his jacket pocket and then threw away the bag and the victim's documents in front of Hoa Sen Kindergarten. Thien used the money for personal purposes.

Upon receiving the victim's report, Vinh City Police assigned the Criminal Police Team to quickly mobilize forces, screen suspicious subjects and conduct a hot investigation.

Using synchronous professional measures, in just 6 hours, Vinh City Police were able to build up the suspect Luong Khanh Thien.

When there was sufficient evidence, at 3:30 p.m. the same day, the Criminal Police of Vinh City Police coordinated with Quang Trung Ward Police to arrest Luong Khanh Thien and recover the evidence.

At the police station, Luong Khanh Thien admitted his crime. The case is under further investigation.
