600 union members and workers volunteered to donate blood

Not hesitating to travel a long distance, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh from NLG Nghe An PP Joint Venture Company Limited, along with union members and workers, came to donate blood at the "Voluntary Blood Donation for Workers in Nghe An Industrial Park 2021" festival, organized by the Dong Nam Economic Zone Trade Union. Mr. Vinh said: "Previously, because I thought that donating blood would affect my health, I thought that donating blood would affect my health.healthSo I was quite worried. Through the mass media, being informed about the meaning of donating blood to save lives, I gradually changed my perception and decided to donate blood. I want to use my blood to save the lives of many sick people."

Also present at Nghe An Urban Environment Company to donate blood, Ms. Hoang Thi Nhung, Royal Food Nghe An Company Limited shared: "With the enthusiasm of youth and the awareness that donating blood is a noble act and has profound humanitarian meaning, bringing life opportunities to patients, contributing to overcoming the shortage of blood in treatment at hospitals, I myself have promoted and mobilized colleagues to participate in the voluntary blood donation movement."

Having donated blood many times, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong - Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone, said: “Up to now, I have donated blood many times. Therefore, I understand that donating blood to save people is a noble act, a beautiful gesture that shows the understanding, compassion and responsibility of each individual to the community. After each blood donation, I feel that I have done a good deed, helping patients overcome difficulties when the blood source at the hospital is increasingly scarce”. Mr. Cong also affirmed that he will continue to donate blood in the following programs.

On the morning of April 11, the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union coordinated withThe Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center organized "Voluntary Blood Donation Festival for Industrial Park Workers"Attending the event were Mr. Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, Mr. Le Son Chau - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc.

With the theme “Donate Blood – Give Hope”, the blood donation festival attracted nearly 600 union members and workers to participate. At the end, the Organizing Committee collected 467 units of blood.
