70 police officers raided the casino of the boss of So Thung area.

Ho Chi Minh City police have just dismantled a large-scale casino on So Thung land, Phan Van Tri street, Ward 11, Binh Thanh district. This casino was organized by the sister of gangster boss Nguyen Hoang Kiet (aka “Cu dia”, born in 1972).

Accordingly, the real sister of “Cu dy”, Nguyen Thi Kim Ha (alias Gai be, born in 1970) and 13 other accomplices were prosecuted for “organizing gambling” and “gambling”. The police are currently continuing to classify and process the other 10 subjects.

This female monster hired many powerful people such as: Nguyen Manh Dung (alias Dung "sat", born in 1976, from Hanoi, had 3 previous convictions), Pham Ngoc Chau (born in 1984, residing in Binh Thanh District), Vu Duc Hoang (born in 1980, residing in Phu Nhuan District)... to manage the casino, collect the tax, and keep watch. Among them, Dung "sat" always carried a pistol, sometimes using it to threaten gamblers right at the casino.

During the monitoring process, on the night of December 31, 2015, the police decided to remove the net. 70 officers and soldiers from the Criminal Police Department, CSCĐ Regiment (under Ho Chi Minh City Police) and Binh Thanh District Police with the support of the dog force divided into 3 groups to suddenly raid the casino.

The casino rushed in when they saw the police. Everyone was subdued, except for the boss Kim Ha who escaped to a nearby house, but the police surrounded her and arrested her after 45 minutes.

Accordingly, 24 subjects were arrested at the casino, along with evidence of 37 million VND, 25 decks of Western cards... Searching Dung "sat"'s residence, the police seized 2 more Japanese swords, 1 machete and 1 lighter shaped like a revolver.

When arrested, Kim Ha confessed that she had been running the casino for about 2 months, collecting several million dong each day...

The police are continuing to expand the investigation.
