Miss Vietnam 2014 runner-up has officially spoken out about the recent rumor of flirting with her close friend's lover.

Recently, netizens were abuzz with the news that runner-up Huyen My texted her best friend’s boyfriend to flirt. Accordingly, a girl’s Facebook account shared text messages with accusations and condemnations about Huyen My texting this girl’s boyfriend.

On the afternoon of May 16, Ms. Lan Phuong - mother of runner-up Huyen My officially responded to related issues. Ms. Lan Phuong said that Huyen My was one of the performers in the fashion show of designer Hoang Hai that took place recently.

Ms. Lan Phuong said: “I was very shocked when my daughter was implicated in this incident. I was the one who went directly with Huyen My to the show, came back with her and followed her closely throughout the show.
