Forecast for the next 24 hours,The storm is moving rapidly in the West Northwest direction, traveling 15-20km per hour.have the potential to become stronger. At 4:00 p.m. on October 30, the center of the storm was located at about 12.8 degrees North latitude; 110.5 degrees East longitude, right on the sea of Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan provinces. The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 8-9 (60-90km/hour),level 11.
Dangerous areas in the East Sea in the next 24 hours (strong winds level 6,level 8and above): North of latitude 10.5 degrees North.
Over the next 24 to 48 hours,The storm is moving quickly to the West, traveling 15-20km per hour. From about this afternoon to tomorrow night (October 30), the storm will make landfall in the provinces from Binh Dinh to Ninh Thuan with strong winds of level 7-8.level 10and weakened into a tropical depression, then weakened into a low pressure area over the eastern region of Cambodia.

From October 30, due to the influence of the northern edge of the circulation of storm No. 5, the sea area of the North Central provinces will have strong winds of level 6 - level 7, gusting to level 8; rough seas.
From October 31 to November 3, under the influence of the strengthening cold air combined with the northern edge of storm No. 5's circulation, the North Central region will have moderate to heavy rain, especially in the south of the region, there will be places with very heavy rain and thunderstorms. The total rainfall in Thanh Hoa and northern Nghe An is 100 - 200mm/period, in southern Nghe An and Ha Tinh it is 200 - 400mm/period, in Ha Tinh there are places with over 400mm.
Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Heavy rain in a short period of time requires caution against flash floods, landslides and flooding of low-lying areas.
