According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thong - Head of Hamlet 3, Xuan Lam Commune, who witnessed the return of Mr. Tien's money, on the afternoon of March 25, Mr. Chinh went to receive money from the ward to send his son to work abroad. While transporting corn in the field, unfortunately, the wallet he had put in his pocket fell out, containing 53 million VND in cash.
When he got home, Mr. Chinh checked and realized that he had dropped his wallet and lost money. At that time, Mr. Chinh's daughter immediately went to the house of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thong - the Village Chief to ask him to inform them to find the money. Mr. Thong went to Mr. Chinh's house to take a picture of the person who dropped the wallet and posted it on his personal Facebook, hoping that whoever found the money would return it.
“Hearing that Mr. Chinh lost 53 million VND while transporting corn, I immediately posted the information online. Luckily for Mr. Chinh, he met a good person,” Mr. Thong shared.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Tien, resident of Hamlet 7, Xuan Lam Commune, on his way home from work, picked up a wallet with the above amount of money. After hearing from the villagers that Mr. Chinh, resident of Hamlet 4, in the same commune, had lost a wallet with 53 million VND and posted a search on Facebook, Mr. Tien went to Mr. Chinh's house to return it.
Mr. Tien's action of "picking up lost property and returning it to its owner" was welcomed and supported by local people.
It is known that Mr. Tien is a hard-working farmer, lives honestly, and his family's circumstances are still difficult./.
