Mr. Son: Placed nearly 150 warning signs in dangerous deep water areas.

(Baonghean.vn) - To help minimize drowning accidents for children in the area, Anh Son district youth union has directed youth unions of 21 communes and towns to install warning signs in dangerous deep water areas.

Accordingly, each commune has an average of 7 signs posted in ponds, lakes, rivers, and deep streams where children often swim. To effectively post signs, grassroots youth unions also organize propaganda to encourage children not to swim in these areas, and at the same time establish volunteer youth teams to monitor, maintain, and repair damaged signs. In addition, many youth unions also organize swimming lessons and training in first aid skills in case of drowning.
