Mr. Son: More than 1,100 athletes participate in Phu Dong Sports Festival

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 26, Anh Son district held the opening ceremony of the 18th Phu Dong Sports Festival in 2017. More than 1,100 athletes from primary, secondary and high schools in the district participated.

Athletes competed in 182 events in 8 sports including: chess, athletics, table tennis, shuttlecock, badminton, volleyball, soccer and pole pushing.

This is a school sports festival, an opportunity to maintain and promote the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", thereby promoting the movement of practicing and competing in sports in schools to improve health, develop physical fitness, and contribute to comprehensive education for students.
