(Baonghean) - On the morning of May 4, the Anh Son District Party Committee held a conference to summarize 5 years of implementing Directive No. 03-CT/TW dated May 14, 2011 of the Politburo on "Continuing to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example" and to commend exemplary collectives and individuals.

Over the past 5 years, Anh Son district has promoted the implementation of Directive 03, focusing on shifting from studying to following Ho Chi Minh's moral example, associated with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (11th term) "Some urgent issues on Party building at present".

Thanks to that, all activities of agencies, units and localities in the area have been put into order. Cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees have a sense of responsibility, are exemplary in their activities, working style, manners, and attitudes towards serving the people of cadres and party members, especially the exemplary responsibility of key leaders at all levels has been raised. Many typical collectives and individuals have appeared to follow Uncle Ho's example.

Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, over the past 5 years, the entire district has mobilized people to convert 4,348.7 hectares of land, donated 612,556 square meters of land, and contributed over 11,789 billion VND to build new rural areas. Up to now, the entire district has more than 500 models of good production and business at the district level; 2 communes have achieved 19/19 criteria for building new rural areas and 3 communes have registered to finish in 2016.

On this occasion, 8 collectives and 12 individuals were commended by the District Party Committee for their outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example in the 2011-2016 period.
