Previously, on March 3, 2017, Ky Son District Police received a report from Ms. Moong Thi Ly (born in 1996, residing in Huoi Thum village, Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son) about being tricked by Ms. Moong Thi May Kham into going to China to be sold.

Immediately after receiving the report, the District Police Department conducted verification and summoned the relevant subjects to clarify the crime. At the police station, Moong Thi May Kham confessed that from August 2013 to present, she had continuously carried out 4 cases of human trafficking to China.

The first case, around August 2013, Moong Thi May Kham returned from China to visit her family in Huoi Tho village, Huu Kiem commune (Ky Son) and met Moong Thi Ly (born in 1996, residing in Huoi Thum village, Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son).

Here, May Kham asked Ly if she wanted to marry a Chinese man. If she agreed, Kham would take care of her life. Ly asked May Kham how much she would pay if she married a Chinese man. May Kham replied that she would pay 40 million VND and Ly agreed. After that, May Kham took Ly to China and after 3 days at May Kham's husband's house, May Kham brought a Chinese man to see and sell Ly for 40,000 Yuan.

With the same trick, around July 2014, May Kham sold Moong Thi Tich (born in 1990, residing in Huoi Tho village, Huu Kiem commune, Ky Son) for 40 million VND. After selling the victim, May Kham received 65,000 yuan from a Chinese person, then gave 80 million VND to Tich's family.

Seeing that human trafficking was easy to make money, in August 2014, Moong Thi May Kham continued to return to her hometown to find people to sell. Using the trick of marrying a Chinese man, Moong Thi May Kham sold Moong Thi Giang (living in Huoi Tho village, Huu Kiem, Ky Son) to a Chinese man for 30,000 yuan. May Kham took 25,000 yuan, and gave the remaining 5,000 yuan to a person in China as a brokerage fee. After 15 days, the subject returned to Vietnam and gave Giang's parents 30 million dong before returning to China.

Then, around August 2014, when May Kham was at her husband's house in China, a woman named Niem (from Xiangyang district) also got married in China. Niem told May Kham that she had just brought a girl from Vietnam to China and asked Kham to find a buyer for her, and if she was successful, he would pay her 5,000 yuan. After finding a buyer and selling the victim, Niem gave May Kham 5,000 yuan as a commission as previously agreed.

In early 2016, Moong Thi May Kham left her Chinese husband to return to Vietnam to get married and lived in Huu Kiem commune (Ky Son) until she was arrested.
