Nghe An Province Traffic Safety Committee gave more than 69,000 helmets to first graders

On the morning of November 3, at Nghe An Primary and Secondary School for Pedagogical Practice, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee coordinated with relevant units to organize a ceremony to present helmets to first-grade students for the 2025-2026 school year, with the theme "Giving helmets - Keeping dreams alive".

On this occasion, the Traffic Safety Committee of Nghe An province coordinated with relevant agencies and units to organize a ceremony to present 69,386 standard helmets to first graders across the province.

This is a practical activity to raise awareness of compliance with regulations on wearing helmets when participating in traffic, aiming for the goal of 100% of children wearing standard helmets. National Technical Education by 2030.

Giving helmets to first graders in the 2025-2026 school year also aims to promote and mobilize the whole society to wear helmets. for children when riding motorbikes, scooters, electric bicycles, contributing to forming safe traffic culture habits from a young age.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Huy Chuong - Deputy Head of the Traffic Safety Committee of Nghe An province emphasized: "The helmets today not only protect the safety of children, but also send a message to parents, schools and the whole society to join hands to build a culture of safe traffic, starting from the smallest actions."

At the ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, Honda Vietnam Company and HEAD Honda Hung Phat 2 directly presented helmets to the students and instructed them on how to wear helmets properly, ensuring safety when riding motorbikes, scooters or electric bicycles.
