Provincial Traffic Safety Committee visits and gives gifts to families of traffic accident victims

(Baonghean.vn) - In response to the Day of Remembrance for Traffic Accident Victims, on the morning of November 15, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee organized a working delegation to visit and encourage families affected by traffic accidents in the communes of Tam Thai, Xa Luong, and Thach Giam (Tuong Duong).

At the places visited, the delegation of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee deeply shared the pain of loss of families whose relatives were victims of traffic accidents; hoping that the families would overcome the pain to overcome difficulties.

Talking with families, the delegation hopes that each family will regularly remind members and children to strictly comply with the Law on Road and Railway Traffic Safety to avoid unfortunate accidents that may occur.

Along with that, the working delegation requested local Party committees, authorities and organizations to take practical actions and actively provide material and spiritual support to help the victims' families ensure their lives.

On this occasion, the delegation presented support money to 5 families of victims including: Lo Van Sao (born in 1995 in Canh Trap village, Tam Thai commune); Mac Van Thien (born in 1967 in Ang village, Xa Luong commune); Lu Van Cong (born in 1972 in Ang village, Xa Luong); Lu Van Chien (born in 1962 in Thach Duong village, Thach Giam commune) and Quang Van Thanh (born in 1672 in Thach Duong village, Thach Giam commune), each family received a gift worth 2 million VND.

On this occasion, in response to the Day of Remembrance for Traffic Accident Victims, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee and the Traffic Safety Committees of districts and cities will establish delegations to visit families of traffic accident victims; intensify propaganda activities to warn the whole society about the disaster, the causes and risks of traffic accidents. Thereby, raising the awareness and consciousness of the whole society in complying with the Law on Road and Railway Traffic Safety.
