Selling cancer medical records, "running" for Agent Orange victim benefits

The Investigation Security Agency, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, has temporarily detained two subjects in Thuong Xuan town, Thuong Xuan district, Thanh Hoa for the crime of "forging seals and documents of agencies and organizations" to enjoy policies.

Accordingly, the two subjects detained for investigation are Tran Quoc Hoi and Nguyen Xuan Ty, both 57 years old, in Thuong Xuan town, Thuong Xuan district.

It is known that from 2012 until now, Tran Quoc Hoi has purchased a fake copy of a cancer medical record (with only the fake seal and signature of the Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital) and a sample of another patient's cancer medical record.

After purchasing a copy of the medical record, the subjects wrote the cancer medical record and sold it to people who needed to make a cancer medical record and "run" the regime to participate in the resistance war and were infected with toxic chemicals.

According to the investigation results of the security agency, up to the time of arrest, the Association had received 114 million VND from 26 people in Thuong Xuan, Cam Thuy, and Vinh Loc districts to create cancer medical records and "run" the regime.

Subject Nguyen Xuan Ty

Among them, Nguyen Xuan Ty, an officer of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Thuong Xuan district, because of greed for illegal profits, received 92 million VND from 7 cases to ask Tran Quoc Hoi to make fake copies of cancer medical records and help the Association submit documents with fake copies of cancer medical records for 4 cases.

The case is currently being investigated by the security agency, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police are clarifying to handle the subjects before the law.
