The Provincial Party Executive Committee agreed on the contents and documents submitted to the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending the conference were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

The Provincial Party Executive Committee listened to and commented on the overall report on preparations for the 20th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; commented on the reception of the Politburo's direction and comments, and completed the documents submitted to the Provincial Party Congress.

Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Pham Trong Hoang said that, accepting the opinions of Working Group No. 3 of the Politburo at the working session on August 19, 2025 and in the Notice of the Central Party Office, the Editorial Team coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board to propose adjustments and supplements to a number of key indicators.

At the same time, coordinate with relevant departments and branches to review, adjust and supplement some contents in the main tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term. Condense the contents of the Draft Political Report, reducing the length to less than 40 pages.

In parallel with editing and completing the Draft Political Report, the Editorial Team reviewed, edited, supplemented and completed the Draft Review Report of the 19th Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Draft Resolution of the Congress and the Draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Congress to ensure consistency and unity.

At the conference, the Provincial Party Executive Committee agreed on the Congress theme: "Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system; comprehensive innovation, breakthrough development, striving to turn Nghe An into a fairly developed province, a national growth pole in the new development era".

Motto of the Congress: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development".

In the general objective, the draft Political Report adds the goal that by 2030, Nghe An province will become the center of the North Central region for Tourism.

The draft Political Report identifies 39 targets, including: 5 groups of targets on Party building and the political system; 10 groups of targets on economy, science and technology; 17 targets on culture and society; 5 targets on environment; 2 targets on national defense and security.

The draft Political Report has adjusted a number of indicators on GRDP per capita, export turnover, human development index and indicators related to administrative reform.

Regarding the tasks and solutions for the coming term, in the field of education, the Editorial Team has updated and re-edited in the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development.

In the health sector, it is revised in the spirit of Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo on a number of breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health. At the same time, it is added the task of forming a coordination mechanism and developing the urban, sub-regional and inter-commune systems.

The Provincial Party Executive Committee also gave opinions and agreed on the contents of the congress preparation; congress program; draft review report, draft action program and draft resolution to be submitted to the congress.

The 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, is scheduled to be held from October 1-3, 2025 at the Provincial Labor Culture House (Thanh Vinh ward).
