Handing over the house "Comradely love"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 18, the Provincial Association of War Veterans handed over the "Comradely Love" house to war veteran Nguyen Quang Trung, village 4, Quynh Loc commune, Hoang Mai town.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung spent 7 years participating in the resistance war against the US in the southern battlefield. He and his wife are over 70 years old, in poor health, and live in a dilapidated level 4 house.

With the support of the Provincial Veterans Association, the two-room house, which started construction on July 2, 2016, has now been completed and put into use. The total construction cost was 90.5 million VND, of which the Provincial Veterans Association supported 60 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by the family. This is a very meaningful work, helping Mr. Trung's family have a stable place to live to improve their lives; at the same time, it shows the concern and care of all levels and members of the Provincial Veterans Association in the work of gratitude, repayment and housing care for disadvantaged policy beneficiaries.

At the ceremony, the town's War Veterans Association, the commune government and mass organizations in the village presented meaningful gifts to encourage the family when moving to their new home.
