(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023), on July 15, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee led by comrade Nguyen Hoai An - Deputy Head of the Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union, came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs in Quang Tri province.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission offered flowers and incense to express deep gratitude to 10,263 martyrs resting at Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, including 1,297 martyrs from Nghe An and 10,800 martyrs resting at Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery, including about 200 martyrs from Nghe An.
During the gratitude journey, the delegation also offered flowers and incense at Quang Tri ancient citadel, paying tribute to the heroic martyrs who fell in the 81-day and night battle in 1972 to protect the ancient citadel and Quang Tri town in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
