Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee promotes responsibility, solidarity, efforts, and excellently completes assigned tasks

In 2022, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee advised the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, the Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee, and the Provincial Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity to issue 63 documents (05 Plans; 04 Plans, outlines; 05 Decisions; 01 Regulation, 01 Regulation, 06 Reports, 03 Programs, 17 Notices, 21 Official Dispatches). At the same time, it proactively issued 825 documents to urge and guide units and localities to implement tasks oninternal affairs, anti-corruption, anti-negativityand judicial reform, especially in resolving cases, handling petitions, letters, and recommendations from citizens...

During the year, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee coordinated well with agencies in the internal affairs sector to advise the Provincial Party Standing Committee to organize monthly internal affairs meetings; the Provincial Steering Committee on anti-corruption and negativity held regular meetings; advised and directed the assurance of national security, social order and safety, and the effective handling and resolution of cases and cases under the supervision and direction of the Standing Committee. Advised the Provincial Party Standing Committee to successfully organize many important preliminary and final conferences on internal affairs, anti-corruption and judicial reform. One of the outstanding results was the successful organization of an online conference to disseminate the establishment of the Provincial Steering Committee on anti-corruption and negativity (PCTN, TC) and a training session on the topic "The Party's leadership over law enforcement agencies in investigating and handling cases and incidents; consulting and handling cases and incidents" to 438 points with 8,200 delegates who are key officials at all levels.

In 2022, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee also focused on advising the Provincial Party Committee Secretary to periodically receive citizens; receive and process petitions, letters, and recommendations sent to the Provincial Party Committee according to Regulation 11-QDi/TW dated February 18, 2019 of the Politburo on the responsibility of the head of the Party Committee in receiving citizens, having direct dialogue with the people and handling the people's reflections and recommendations. Thereby, it has created a strong change in the work of receiving citizens by Party Committees, authorities and heads of Party Committees and authorities at all levels; contributing to improving the leadership capacity, fighting strength of Party Committees, Party organizations, and the operational efficiency of government apparatuses at all levels; contributing to promoting the role of social supervision and criticism, consolidating and strengthening the close relationship between the Party, the government and the people.

In addition, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee has proactively grasped the situation and urged the implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws on internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity and judicial reform at agencies, units and localities in the province; strengthened coordination with agencies in the bloc, closely followed the grassroots and public opinion, society and press reports, monitored and urged the progress of resolving cases and cases under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and cases and cases under the supervision and urging of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.

In 2022, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to deploy 04 inspection teams, 02 supervision teams on internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity and judicial reform in 06 localities. The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee directly deployed 02 inspections in 02 localities; advised the Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee, the Steering Committee for Building a Strong and Safe Foundation to master 02 inspection teams; urged, guided and worked in 09 localities and units on internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity and judicial reform. Inspection and supervision work focused on outstanding and urgent issues, issues related to the political security situation, social order and safety, areas prone to violations such as: Land, policy work, personnel work; on the personal responsibility of key officials, heads of Party committees and authorities at all levels in leading, directing and implementing regulations of the Party, State and localities on internal affairs, anti-corruption and judicial reform...

Thereby, promptly detecting, correcting and handling a number of violations, contributing to building a clean and strong provincial Party Committee, fighting and preventing degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party; preventing and combating corruption and negativity; strengthening the trust of cadres, party members and people in the Party and the State. Through inspection and supervision, it was recommended to recover to the State budget the amount of 363,516 million VND; requesting a deduction when examining and approving the final settlement of completed projects the amount of 655,086 million VND.

One of the outstanding activities in 2022 of the Internal Affairs Committee that was highly appreciated by the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, localities, units, functional agencies and people was that right after the Secretariat issued Regulation No. 67-QD/TW, dated June 2, 2022 of the Secretariat on the functions, tasks, powers, working regime, and working relations of the Steering Committees for anti-corruption and anti-negativity of provincial and municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Government; the Internal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committee coordinated with relevant departments and branches to advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to establish a Provincial Steering Committee for anti-corruption and anti-negativity. In its role as a standing agency assisting the Provincial Steering Committee for anti-corruption and anti-negativity, the Internal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has advised on the issuance of many important documents, contributing positively to the activities of the Steering Committee.

Along with the above activities, in 2022, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee assessed and gave opinions on personnel work, with 84 comrades under the management and opinions of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; participated in giving opinions on 26 documents.(resolution, directive,project,rules, regulations...)on internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity and judicial reform drafted by central agencies; 18 projects, regulations, plans, reports... drafted by agencies, localities and units. With the above results, in 2022, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee was classified as having excellently completed its tasks. The Party cell was classified as having excellently completed its typical tasks.
