The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Nghe An province handed over the bridge for people in Anh Son
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 19, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province coordinated with the People's Committee of Hoa Son commune, Anh Son district to inaugurate and hand over the Dong Coc (Liem Chinh) bridge project in village 4, Hoa Son commune.

Dong Coc Bridge (Liem Chinh) started construction in November 2022, 6m long, 4m wide, with safety posts (landmarks) on both sides of the road 15m long, with a total construction cost of over 120 million VND, supported by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Nghe An province, the Phat Tam Bo De volunteer Buddhist group, and local people contributed over 100 working days to build the bridge.
The completed project has created favorable conditions for 201 households in village 4 and Hoa Son commune to travel, work, study conveniently, ensuring safety during the rainy and flood season, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
On this occasion, Venerable Thich Tue Minh and the Phat Tam Bo De Buddhist Volunteer Group awarded 48 scholarships to poor but studious students and 29 gifts to poor households and families in difficult circumstances in Hoa Son commune, each scholarship and gift worth from 300,000 - 400,000 VND.
