Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television won the National Press Award "For the cause of Vietnam's education 2025"

2025 is the 8th year that the Ministry of Education and Training presides over and coordinates with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Vietnam Journalists Association to organizeNational Press Award "For the cause of Vietnamese education".

The Education and Times Newspaper is the permanent unit, organizing the implementation, to honor authors with excellent works on the education and training career of the country and honor typical collectives and individuals with many contributions to the career of cultivating people. Thereby, to propagate and honor the contributions of the Education sector to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The National Press Award "For the cause of Vietnamese education" is held annually, demonstrating the attention of the Ministry of Education and Training to press agencies across the country, because the press has always accompanied the education sector in the innovation process.

The award is not only a recognition of outstanding journalistic work, but also a tribute to social responsibility, dedication and enduring belief in the power of knowledge and education.

This year’s competition attracted more than 800 entries across four types of journalism: print, electronic, radio and television. In addition to central press agencies, many localities – from mountainous areas, islands to remote areas.

According to the Jury, the 2025 season recorded many innovations compared to previous seasons, especially in terms of format and content reflecting educational policies, focusing on three major groups of issues, including: Implementation of policies on education and training; typical models; typical examples of teachers, students.

In addition, many series of articles have reflected current issues of the industry such as: Implementing the 2025 Teachers Law, summarizing the 2018 General Education Program, developing digital education and artificial intelligence in teaching and learning, promoting skills education, school psychology, or initiatives on happy, safe, and creative schools.

The quality of the works is consistent, the gap between the central press and local press is narrowed, demonstrating the commitment of reporters, with high influence in society. In particular, many works have accompanied the industry in promoting the spirit of innovation, demonstrating the determination to build a humane, open and integrated education - where each learner develops their capacity and qualities in accordance with the spirit of "lifelong learning, learning to be human".

These works have contributed their voices and breath of life to the vivid picture of Vietnamese education. At the same time, it affirms that the press continues to be a companion, a critical voice, and a source of inspiration for the education sector on the path of fundamental and comprehensive innovation.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 82 prizes. Including 4 first prizes; 8 second prizes; 12 third prizes, 36 consolation prizes and 2 outstanding characters in 02 award-winning works.

Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television was awarded the Encouragement Prize for the work:Removing difficulties for the education sector in the new contextby author My Ha - Tien Hung.
