Arrested 2 subjects in 2 transnational drug trafficking rings
(Baonghean.vn) - The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has just successfully broken up a case; fought and expanded another case and successfully arrested 2 main subjects in 2 large drug rings from Laos smuggled through the mountainous district of Que Phong, Nghe An Province to other provinces for consumption.
Accordingly, through the work of grasping the situation, detectives of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police discovered a network.drug traffickingfrom Laos through Que Phong district, to be sold nationwide. Faced with that situation, the unit reported to the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police to establish a special project to fight and eradicate it.
At about 11:30 p.m. on April 21, 2021, at an abandoned house in Pa Khom village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police, together with Quy Hop District Police, coordinated with Tri Le Border Guard Station and the Drug Control Team of Nghe An Customs Department to successfully break up the case.

On the spot, the forces caught the subject red-handed.Ly Ba Ra (born in 1999), residing in Pa Khom village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, for the act of "Illegal trading of drugs". Through the search, the Special Task Force seized6,000 synthetic drug pills, 02 mobile phones.
Previously, on April 19, 2021, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police also organized forces and deployed synchronous professional measures to expand the fight and arrest Lo Long Truong (born 2000), residing in Bon village, Kim Son town, Que Phong district, Nghe An province for illegally transporting 20 heroin cakes.
This is a case in which Truong Thi Huyen (commonly known as Huyen Vila, born in 1976), residing in Bon village, Kim Son town, Que Phong district, Nghe An province hired Truong Ngoc Que (born in 1995), residing in Hung Dung ward, Vinh city, to transport drugs from Que Phong district to Nam Dinh province twice on October 30, 2020 and November 5, 2020 with a total quantity of 20 heroin cakes.
Lo Long Truong (son of Truong Thi Huyen) participated in transporting the 20 heroin cakes mentioned above with Truong Ngoc Que. However, after learning that his mother and Que were arrested, Truong fled to Ho Chi Minh City.

With a fighting spirit, determination and perseverance, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police has applied synchronous professional measures to arrest Lo Long Truong.
On April 19, 2021, the Unit arrested the subject while he was hiding in Ho Chi Minh City. At the Investigation Agency, the subject confessed to all of his crimes.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Nghe An Province is consolidating records and documents to handle the subjects according to the provisions of law and continuing to fight to expand the above-mentioned projects.
