Arrested 5 suspects of shooting and killing someone on the balcony
Two young men standing on a balcony were shot by a group of people on the street, possibly stemming from a conflict in the fish shooting game business.
On the afternoon of March 9, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police detained five suspects, including Doan Phuong Nam (21 years old), Pham Ngoc Son (23 years old), Bui Khac Khanh, Nguyen Van Son and Nguyen Thanh Binh (all 24 years old, living in Thanh Hoa City) to investigate the acts of murder, intentional injury and disturbing public order.

According to authorities, three nights ago, Phung Quang Huy (22 years old) and Nguyen Quang Linh (21 years old) came to visit a house on Quang Trung Street, Ngoc Trao Ward. At around 10:30 p.m. the same day, while they were standing on the second-floor balcony, a group of strangers opened fire from below. Huy died and Linh was seriously injured.
According to witnesses, at the time of the crime, the gang members covered their faces, wore sun protection shirts, and rode two Exciter motorbikes.
Three days after the suspects were arrested, police seized evidence including three guns and the motorbike Nam and his accomplices used to commit the crime.

According to the investigation agency, all 5 suspects were junior members of a gang specializing in loan sharking and fish shooting game business in Thanh Hoa province. The murder stemmed from business conflicts and competition for territory.
