Nanny arrested for abusing 5-year-old girl in preschool
Police arrested Tran Thi Hong Phuc (26 years old), a nanny at a kindergarten, to investigate and handle the act of "child abuse".

On the afternoon of July 28, Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Hai - Chief of Binh Chanh District Police, Ho Chi Minh City confirmed that this agency had issued an emergency arrest warrant for Tran Thi Hong Phuc (26 years old), a nanny of the Anh Sao Vang Kindergarten, to investigate and handle the act of "child abuse".
According to Phuc's statement, due to a lot of pressure (raising a small child, his mother and sister being treated in the hospital) and having to manage many children at the same time in the preschool, he was under pressure.
At noon on July 25, nanny Phuc fed Phan Thi ND (5 years old, living in Da Phuoc, Binh Chanh), but she refused to eat and kept vomiting. In anger, nanny Phuc slapped D on the right cheek many times.
A while later, nanny Phuc discovered that D's right cheek was swollen. She worriedly applied ice to the wound and told D not to tell anyone that Phuc had slapped her.
After seeing D showing unusual signs, nanny Phuc reported it to the owner of the kindergarten and together with the owner and the family took D to the doctor. The doctor concluded that D had a soft tissue injury.
In addition to arresting nanny Phuc, the Anh Sao Vang Kindergarten was also suspended.
