According to the owner of the production facility, to recycle industrial grease, Son and Thuy purchased waste oil, animal fats and additives to recycle and resell to industrial parks and factories in Nghe An and Ha Tinh to make a profit. The production facility was built with a closed fence, a sturdy gate, and a security guard was hired to keep watch. All stages of purchasing waste oil and animal fats as well as importing products were organized by Son using a pickup truck and carried out at night. Every month, Son Thuy's facility recycled 1-2 tons of grease to sell to factories and industrial parks.
The operation of this production facility causes environmental pollution, water sources, dust, and foul odors, making the surrounding residents upset. The police are currently continuing to investigate and clarify the matter to handle it according to the law.
