Arrest of wanted subject on the way home

(Baonghean.vn)-La Van Phuc, residing in Xieng village, Binh Chuan commune, is wanted for "illegally storing, using, and trading narcotics". After 9 months on the run, Phuc was arrested while on his way home to visit his family.

Binh Chuan Commune Police have just coordinated with PC47 force of Nghe An Province Police to arrest dangerous wanted subject La Van Phuc (born in 1979), residing in Xieng village, Binh Chuan commune.

Since 2014, Phuc has been selling drugs at home under close guard. In 2016, a number of drug addicts were arrested by the commune police, who confessed their actions and the locations where they bought and sold drugs.

La Van Phuc was arrested by the Binh Chuan Commune Police, but Phuc quickly fled the area. The authorities tried many times to persuade Phuc's family to surrender but were unsuccessful.

On October 13, 2016, Nghe An Provincial Police issued a wanted notice for La Van Phuc for "illegally storing, using, and trading in narcotics".

After a period of being wanted, using professional measures as well as secret information, Phuc will return to visit his family at around 1-2am on July 23, 2017.

At around 4am on July 23, 2017, Binh Chuan Commune Police and Nghe An Province Police ambushed and arrested La Van Phuc at Pu Huot peak, the border between Xieng My Commune, Tuong Duong District and Binh Chuan Commune, Con Cuong District. This is also considered a hot spot for drug trafficking.

The subject has been transferred to the Provincial Police to complete the dossier and be strictly handled according to the law./.
