Arrested subject carrying weapon, possessing 1,300 synthetic drug pills

In early March, through intelligence work, Tan Ky District Police discovered that Pham Anh Tuan (born in 1986), residing in Block 3, Tan Lac Town, Quy Chau District, was bringing drugs into the district for consumption. To deal with the authorities, the subject often traveled by car on many different routes and at different times; in the car there was always a weapon ready to fight back when arrested.

Accordingly, Tan Ky District Police have established a special project to fight. Using professional measures, the project team determined that on March 15, Pham Anh Tuan would transport drugs to Tan Ky District for transaction. Immediately, Tan Ky District Police mobilized forces and established many working groups to monitor all movements of the subject.

At 6 p.m. the same day, the task force quickly approached, controlled, and arrested Pham Anh Tuan while he was moving on the inter-hamlet road in Tan Phu commune, Tan Ky district. At the scene, the police force seized 6 plastic bags containing 1,213 pills.drugssynthetic (pink sheet).

Searching Pham Anh Tuan’s residence, the task force continued to discover and seize 87 synthetic drug pills. The police force also seized 1 car, 2 mobile phones and 2 knives that the subject hid in the car.

Currently, Tan Ky District Police are continuing to fight and expand the case.
