When they arrived at the cave, to make it easier to take pictures, Mrs. Thu put the bag aside. At that moment, a young man took the bag and ran up to the gate to heaven and out the back gate of the cave. Too surprised and frightened, Mrs. Thu and her husband reported it to the city police.

By 11pm the same day, the City Police arrested Vi Van Dat (born in 1993, residing in Na Pan village, Hoang Dong commune, Lang Son city), promptly recovered all assets, including 861 USD, 1 necklace, 1 mobile phone, 1 iPad... worth about 20 million VND, 2 passports returned to Mrs. Thu and her husband in time for their journey back to the US.

Dat has two previous convictions for theft. The City Police are completing procedures to prosecute and temporarily detain Vi Van Dat according to the law. The quick investigation and arrest of the robber and the maintenance of security and order have contributed to strengthening the trust of foreign tourists in the police force./.
