Arrested 1 human trafficker
(Baonghean.vn) - Moong Van Thach was arrested by authorities for human trafficking.
On July 21, 2022, Ky Son District Police announced that they had prosecuted Moong Van Thach (born 1977), residing in Chieu Luu Commune, Ky Son District, for the crime of "Human Trafficking".
Previously, Ky Son District Police received a report from Ms. Oc Thi H. (born in 1992), residing in Chieu Luu Commune, Ky Son District, accusing Moong Van Thach of being tricked and sold.
Immediately after that, the Ky Son District Police and the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province jointly established a special investigation project. After the investigation, on July 14, 2022, in Chieu Luu Commune, Ky Son District, the authorities arrested Moong Van Thach for human trafficking.

At the police station, Thach confessed that in 2010 he lured Ms. H. to sell her abroad for 60,000 yuan (about 210 million Vietnamese Dong).
Currently, Ky Son District Police are continuing to complete the dossier to handle Moong Van Thach according to legal regulations./.
