Arrested 3 subjects stealing school property, destroying documents

On the afternoon of January 2, Quy Hop District Police announced: They had successfully broken up a case of property theft at a school, arresting 3 suspects.

Accordingly, on December 27, 2018, at Chau Quang Secondary School (Phây village, Châu Quang commune, Quy Hop district), it was discovered that a thief had broken into the principal's office and stolen 01 computer set (including 01 computer monitor, 01 CPU, 01 Canon printer) with a total value of about 20 million VND.

Immediately after receiving the report, Quy Hop District Police quickly arrived at the scene; through initial investigation, it was learned that the stolen computer contained a lot of important data related to the school's management work.

It is worth mentioning that at the scene, some documents showed signs of being burned and destroyed. Project 119T was established to fight. The project team urgently conducted a review and screening of suspicious subjects in Chau Quang commune and neighboring areas to track down the subjects.

Consolidating documents and synchronously using professional measures, on December 30, 2018, the Task Force successfully broke the case, clarified and arrested 03 subjects including: Nguyen Thanh Thao (born in 1998), Lo Duc Truong (born in 2002) and Lo Van Nhat (born in 1991) all residing in Quang Thinh hamlet, Chau Quang commune, Quy Hop district for the act of "Theft of property". The seized evidence was 01 computer set (including 01 computer screen, 01 CPU, 01 Canon printer).

At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed that after getting drunk, they invited each other to enter the school, used rocks to break the glass doors to sneak in and steal property to sell for money; and used fire to burn paper to keep warm.
