53 kg of fireworks seized in Toyota Vios
(Baonghean.vn) - Nguyen Cong Qua (residing in hamlet 15, Phuc Tho commune, Nghi Loc district) was arrested by the police while transporting 53kg of explosive fireworks in a Toyota Vios car for sale.
On the afternoon of January 12, the Nghi Loc District Police Department announced that the unit is temporarily detaining Nguyen Cong Qua (born in 1975, residing in Hamlet 15, Phuc Tho Commune, Nghi Loc District) with evidence of 53 kg of explosive fireworks and a Toyota Vios car to investigate and clarify the act of illegally transporting fireworks.

Previously, at around 7:30 p.m. on January 11, a Nghi Loc District Police task force on patrol in Thai Thinh hamlet, Nghi Thai commune, discovered a white Toyota Vios car with license plate 37A 340.41 stopped on the side of the road, showing suspicious signs.
The administrative inspection team discovered two cardboard boxes in the rear trunk containing 37 boxes of foreign-made explosive fireworks, with a total weight of 53 kg.

Driver Nguyen Cong Qua could not prove the origin of the fireworks, so the subject and the evidence were taken by the working group to Nghi Loc District Police for investigation.
