Accordingly, at 4:00 a.m. on March 21, at Pha Thang village, Muong Kham district, Xieng Khouang province, Laos, the PCMT&TP force, Nam Can international border gate Border Guard Station, Nghe An province Border Guard in coordination with Xieng Khouang province Police (Laos) successfully broke up Project 368 LV, arrested Thao Luon - 48 years old, residing in Huot village, Muong Kham district, Xieng Khouang province, Laos, who was illegally transporting drugs, trying to cross the border into Nghe An.

Evidence seized at the scene included 10 heroin cakes, 1 two-wheeled motorbike and some related evidence.

According to initial statements, the subject bought drugs from Laos across the border into Nghe An to sell, and was discovered and arrested when arriving at the above location.

Currently, Nghe An Border Guard has handed over the subject and evidence to Xieng Khouang Provincial Police for further investigation and handling.

In the first 3 months of 2018, Nghe An Border Guard Force coordinated with Xieng Khouang Provincial Police (Laos) to successfully fight 4 cases, arrest 6 subjects, seize 22 heroin cakes, 1kg of crystal meth, 36 thousand synthetic drug pills and many other related exhibits.

On this occasion, the leaders of Nghe An Border Guard Command presented gifts to the police of Xieng Khouang province - Laos.
