Arrested the person who chopped down the kumquat tree of the merchant

On January 25, Yen Thanh District Police said they were completing the case file to prosecute Truong Van Oanh (born in 1991), residing in Tho Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, for the act ofdestruction of property.

Previously, at 7:30 a.m. on January 24, 2022, Tho Thanh Commune Police received a report from Mr. V.D.H. (born in 1982), residing in Do Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, regarding: At about 2:40 a.m. on January 23, 2022, at an empty lot in Hamlet 5, Tho Thanh Commune, his family had 28 kumquat trees chopped down by bad guys.

Immediately after receiving the report, the District Police sent a working group directly to the scene, coordinating with Tho Thanh Commune Police to verify, investigate and clarify.

Because the incident happened late at night and there were no residents living around the scene, the police encountered many difficulties in the fight.

However, by synchronously using professional measures, just 6 hours after receiving the report, at 1:30 p.m. on January 24, 2022, Yen Thanh District Police arrested Truong Van Oanh (born in 1991), residing in Tho Thanh commune, for property destruction.

At the police station, through the struggle, Oanh confessed to her crime. Accordingly, because she saw Mr. V.D.H. selling kumquats at a high price, Oanh cut down the above kumquats, the total value of the property was about 70 million VND.

Currently, Yen Thanh District Police are completing the case file to prosecute the subject according to the law.
