Previously, on the afternoon of January 20, An Khe Town Police received a report that Nguyen The Tao (born in 1968, residing in Group 9, Tay Son Ward), a motorbike taxi driver, had been missing since January 18, 2018.
The police force immediately issued a search notice and at the same time deployed professional measures and investigation verification. During the investigation, the police discovered a motorbike with similar characteristics to Mr. Tao's at a pawn shop in An Binh ward.

When arriving at Song An commune, the car opened its door to pick up passengers along the way, then the detectives rushed in to control and arrest Tam. Searching Tam, the police found 1 package of heroin and 1 syringe.
At the investigation agency, Tam confessed that on January 18, 2018, Tam hired Mr. Tao to take him from the An Khe town post office to Kong Chro district. On the way, the subject had the intention of killing Mr. Tao to take his property.
