Programme"Lighting up the future faith"is an annual activity of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee - Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province to promote the role and responsibility of the Youth Union - Association at all levels and units in coordinating education, promptly encouraging and helping drug addicts reintegrate into the community, have a stable life, contributing to reducing the rate of crime and law violations.

Phuc Son Voluntary Drug Rehabilitation Center is a public service unit under the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, located in Tien village, Phuc Son commune, Anh Son district, with the function of receiving, organizing medical treatment, drug rehabilitation, health recovery, managing drug rehabilitation students and vocational training for students after rehabilitation to reintegrate into the community. The facility is currently receiving more than 200 students.

In recent times, the Youth Union and Association of Nghe An province at all levels have always determined that accompanying drug addicts to reintegrate into the community is a necessary and important task to motivate students to overcome their inferiority complex, have the will to rise up and be determined to quit drugs to soon reintegrate into the community, return to their families and relatives to start a new life without drugs, and become useful people for society.

At the same time, 20 gifts were presented to 20 trainees with good achievements in the drug rehabilitation process at the facility in the past time.

On this occasion, students listened to the reporter discuss the topic.“Law on Drug Prevention”and knowledge related to the harmful effects of drugs and HIV/AIDS.

Hopefully after this program, each student will become an active propagandist to spread the message to everyone to join in preventing and fighting against drug abuse. Because more than anyone else, students are the ones who understand best the harm and consequences that drugs bring.
