Emergency arrest of gold chain snatcher

(Baonghean.vn)- On June 6, the People's Procuracy of Do Luong district approved an emergency arrest warrant for Tran Minh Hung (born August 1, 1987), residing in Phu Tho hamlet, Luu Son commune, Do Luong district, for the act of "Robbery" under Article 136 of the Penal Code.

According to the initial investigation results: Previously, at about 9:00 p.m. on June 2, 2016, in the Do Luong Green Garden area, Ms. Bui Thi Thanh (born in 1953) was walking and exercising with 3 other women, when suddenly a subject riding a dark red Yamaha LX motorbike followed behind, then approached Ms. Thanh and used his hand to forcefully snatch the 9999 gold necklace. When he snatched the necklace, the subject Hung immediately revved the gas and sped away on the motorbike.

After committing the crime, on the morning of June 3, 2016, Hung went to Ngoc Bao gold shop in Yen Huong hamlet, Yen Son commune, Do Luong district to sell a gold necklace weighing 4 taels of copper for 9 million 5 hundred thousand dong.

Currently, the subject Hung is being detained at the Do Luong district police detention center for further investigation.
