According to regulations, Thai Cuc Company is only allowed to exploit sand and gravel on Lam River at the beginning of Bu beach in Boi Son commune. Recently, this Company has used suction machines to exploit the area below Bu beach in Trang Son commune, right next to the gathering area. At the scene, the suction machine is only about 25 to 30m from the gathering area.

The illegal sand and gravel mining of Thai Cuc Company has affected the flow and caused the risk of riverbank erosion in Trang Son Commune. This issue has been reported many times by voters in the communes. The People's Committee of Trang Son Commune has reminded many times but Thai Cuc Company still illegally mines.
Trang Son Commune Police have drawn up a record to temporarily detain the sand and gravel suction vehicle and reported to the District People's Committee and District Police for coordination in handling.
