Driver arrested for causing multiple accidents without a license

According to the investigation, on the evening of November 30, Do drove this car and hit 2 motorbikes and an electric bicycle while traveling on National Highway 29, through Hoa Hiep Nam commune, Dong Hoa district. The accident killed Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Linh and her 5-year-old daughter, a 14-year-old girl riding a bicycle, and another boy; 3 people in the family of Mr. Huynh Chi Doi, 35 years old, were injured.

Mr. Ho Viet My (Director of Binh Dinh General Hospital) said that Mr. Doi suffered a broken cervical vertebrae, forearm, and arm; the girl had minor injuries, but was in a state of panic; and his wife was still in a coma.

3. Committing a crime in one of the following cases shall be punishable by imprisonment from 7 to 15 years:

a) Causing the death of 3 or more people.

b) Causing injury or damage to the health of 3 people with a bodily injury rate of 61% or more for each person.

c) Causing injury or damage to the health of 3 or more people, with the total body injury rate of these people being 201% or more.

d) Causing property damage of VND 1.5 billion or more.
