Little girl abused with red hot iron pressed on her arms

On November 25, Mr. Cao Hung Cuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Hoa Phu Commune, Chau Thanh District, Kien Giang Province, said that due to the serious nature of the incident, the People's Committee of the commune has transferred the case to the district police for further investigation.

According to the incident, when teachers at Vinh Thanh School (Vinh Hoa Hiep Commune, Chau Thanh District, Kien Giang) discovered many burns and bruises on the body of NHNT (7 years old), suspected of being abused by his biological father and stepmother, they reported it to the authorities and police of Vinh Hoa Phu Commune, where T lived.

The school discovered the incident late because T. wore a mask and long-sleeved shirt every day to school. Photos provided by the school show that T. had many burns on both arms and her right cheek.

According to T., she is often beaten by her stepmother and biological father every day.

About 3 days ago, my father used a red-hot iron bar from a gas stove and pressed it against both of my arms. The case is being transferred to Chau Thanh district police for clarification.
