Closing Ceremony of Quynh Luu District Open Table Tennis Tournament 2018
(Baonghean.vn) - After 2 days of exciting competition, on the afternoon of July 15, the 2018 Quynh Luu District Open Table Tennis Tournament closed.
Attending the closing ceremony were Mr. Tong Duc Thuan - Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation, representatives of Quynh Luu district leaders, the tournament sponsor, and many athletes and coaches of the delegations participating in the tournament.
This is the third year Quynh Luu district has organized an open table tennis tournament. This year's tournament attracted the participation of 240 athletes from 35 table tennis clubs nationwide, including table tennis clubs in Hanoi, Hai Duong, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Da Nang and Nghe An province. The athletes competed in 3 categories: Forum A, B, C teams; Nghe An B, C, D teams and leadership pairs.

According to the organizers, the athletes have diverse playing styles, high professional quality and are even. In particular, many young players have fast and modern playing styles, giving the audience many beautiful and attractive shots.
At the end of the tournament, the organizing committee awarded the First, Second and Third prizes for the following categories: Team A, B, C forum categories, the First prize went to Tien Dat 6789 Shop Table Tennis Club, the Second prize went to T&T 1 Table Tennis Club, and the Third prize went to Thanh Hoa City Table Tennis Club and Quynh Luu Table Tennis Club.

In the Team B, C, D Nghe An content, the first prize went to T&T 2 Table Tennis Club, the second prize went to Quynh Luu Table Tennis Club, and the third prize went to Nano Table Tennis Club and C500 Ha Tinh Table Tennis Club.
In the men's doubles leadership event, the first prize went to Quynh Luu team, the second prize went to Thanh Hoa City, and the third prize went to the Bank for Industry and Trade, Bac Nghe An branch and Tinh Gia (Thanh Hoa).
This is a sports tournament organized according to the socialized model, attracting the attention of many fans. Through the connection between professional table tennis and grassroots table tennis, it has helped athletes access high-performance table tennis, contributing to the development of table tennis.
