Closing ceremony of the 10th Public Art Festival of the People's Public Security Forces

This festival with the theme “70 years of the People’s Public Security remembering Uncle Ho’s words” will be held from May 15. This is the last regional festival to be held. Previously, 3 other regional festivals were held in Bac Giang, Can Tho, Binh Thuan provinces. The Regional Festival II held in Nghe An is also one of the activities to celebrate the 128th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday, the 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s call for “Patriotic Emulation”….

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh said that this was an opportunity for the "artistic core" team of the police units and localities to exchange, learn and share experiences, promote the cultural and artistic movement, and contribute to more effective implementation of political work. The Deputy Minister of Public Security also praised the achievements of 22 art troupes, especially the troupes that were awarded in this festival; at the same time, he requested the police units and localities to continue to pay more attention and create favorable conditions for officers and soldiers to develop cultural and artistic movements.

This Regional Festival II has more than 110 works performed by more than 600 officers and soldiers of 22 police delegations including the General Department of Police, General Department of Intelligence, Guard Command, Traffic Police Department, People's Security Academy, police of some northern localities including Hanoi City Police, Bac Ninh, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Hoa Binh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Bac Kan and 2 southern localities, Ninh Thuan and Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Police.

The art forms in the festival include singing, dancing, music, drama and skits. The content of the art performances is to praise the Party, Uncle Ho, the tradition of building, fighting and growing of the People's Public Security force associated with the movement "People's Public Security learns and practices Uncle Ho's Six Teachings", the emulation movement "For National Security"...

After 3 days of competition, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 units that won First Prize, 7 Second Prizes and 10 Third Prizes. Regarding the performance prizes, there were 22 First Prizes, 34 Second Prizes and 46 Third Prizes.
