Nghe An Social Insurance visited and gave gifts in Huu Kiem commune (Ky Son district)

(Baonghean.vn) - On January 14, a working delegation of Nghe An Social Insurance, led by Mr. Pham Gia Van, Deputy Director of Nghe An Social Insurance, visited and gave gifts to lonely elderly people and poor students who overcame difficulties in Huu Kiem commune, Ky Son district.

Provincial Social Insurance gives gifts to poor children in Huu Kiem commune

During this working trip to Huu Kiem commune, the delegation presented 45 gifts to 45 poor students in difficult circumstances at all 3 levels in the commune; presented 10 gifts to 10 elderly people in difficult circumstances; presented 1 Panasonic refrigerator worth 5 million VND to the collective of the commune People's Committee staff. In addition, the delegation also presented 3 savings books, each worth 5 million VND to 3 elderly people in especially difficult circumstances in Huu Kiem commune, the total value of the gifts was over 20 million VND. This is the amount of money voluntarily donated by the collective of officials, workers and employees of Nghe An province's Social Insurance with their salaries.

Also during the working session, the delegation visited and handed over the solidarity house supported by Nghe An Social Insurance with a total amount of 40 million VND to the family of Mr. Lu Van Xan and Mrs. Lo Thi Khay, Dinh Son 1 village, Huu Kiem commune. This is one of the poorest and most disadvantaged households in Huu Kiem commune. It is a two-room stilt house, made entirely of wood, 60 square meters wide, with a tiled roof. The house has been completed and has been put into use by Mr. Xan's family. The support of Nghe An Social Insurance has contributed to helping Huu Kiem commune achieve results in socio-economic development.
